Scott Henderson portrayed Lennie and I was Curly when English teacher Joseph Degrado had his classes act out scenes from Steinbeck's "Of Mice and Men." In the scene where Curly bullies Lennie and begins hitting him, I (a good six inches shorter than Scott and maybe 50 pounds lighter) got carried away with my enthusiasm, and Scott growled at me, "Take it easy, Warzyn."
